Golden Age Grand Prix

June 5 to 7, 2026

From June 5th to 7th, 2026, join us for the 61st edition of the Golden Age Grand Pirx, a landmark event on the international calendar of historic racing gatherings. More than half a century ago, the first Golden Age Coupes was held in 1964 at Rouen-les-Essarts, as a support race for the Formula 1 French Grand Prix, making it the oldest historic racing event in France. After a stop at the Linas-Montlhéry Autodrome, the event has taken place at the circuit Dijon-Prenois since 2004.

In 2026, the Historic Racing by Peter Auto series adopted a new identity: Le Mans Classic Series, encompassing all Peter Auto historic races, including the Golden Age Grand Prix. This new name aims to strengthen the shared identity with the Le Mans Classic event and give the season’s races an international profile. Nearly 300 cars will be on track, retracing the history of motorsport from the 1950s to 1992. For this 61st edition, eight series will share the event: 2.0L Cup, Classic Endurance Racing 1 & 2, Classic Touring Challenge, Sixties’ Endurance, The Gentleman Challenge, Heritage Touring Cup, and finally, the new addition for this edition, the Heritage Touring Cup 2.

In the paddock, open to the public, visitors can enjoy getting up close to the drivers and their iconic machines. Engaging activities and various exhibitors will offer a range of model cars, books, and automotive accessories, creating a true festival dedicated to the exciting world of historic vehicles. Furthermore, clubs and collectors, key players in Peter Auto events, will be present in large numbers and will have the opportunity to participate in track sessions. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of historic automobiles!
